I haven't seen it, so can't confirm/deny, but I will definitely go look!

Also there is a cute new shop near downtown called "Shabby Sheep".  I'm not sure if they have a website yet or not, but they are on Boll St. down in the State/Thomas district.  I don't know the exact address, but they are in a little yellow house.  Ronda, the owner, is super!

Would you mind if I put the word out to members of the Dallas SnB in case we have members who would rather not travel so far (or who want to do both)?

Do y'all meet up every Tuesday night?

4  Texas / Texas: North Central / Re: Sewing - Where to buy (or possibly repair) a machine and learn in Fort Worth on: May 11, 2005 09:15:20 AM
The best sewing machine repair place I know of is in Arlington; it's called "Arlington Sewing Machine" (very creative) and is on Abram St. near the main library.

There's also a Crate & Barrel outlet on Inwood Rd . . . if you take Inwood southwest from Harry Hines, it is about 2-3 blocks down on the right.  I've seen fabric there.

Also, my husband won't let me go to SnB without a buddy!

Would telling him that we were recently profiled for an article in the Dallas Morning News help?  Smiley

How knitting oriented are you at this SnB?

Right now it's pretty much knitting and crochet, but feel free to come with your quilty stuff!  I know there are a couple of chicks who quilt . . . and everyone is welcome!

Next Stitch n Bitch Dallas is December 12, 2:30-5:30 at Cafe Express on McKinney Ave in Dallas (uptown) . . . pm me for directions if you need!
