1  stocking of regular proportion (complete w/ photos) in Winter Holidays by emog on: December 13, 2006 08:41:35 PM
It has been some time now, but I have been sewing a bit. So here it is. Very basic, though I was pleased with the result.
Commissioned by cousins for their fairly fresh baby and her very first Christmas celebration.

Colour is a bit off, the stocking itself is flat green, not the wavy business seen here.

2  roll-up organizer for use with any tool. in Completed Projects by emog on: October 01, 2005 09:31:02 PM
I made the following useful item with a specific intent. You see, my sister has just recently completed cosmetology school, and I felt she deserved a congratulatory gift. And thus, I fashioned her this makeup brush clutch.

As I completed the project I realized it would be just as useful as a travel pouch for my sewing supplies.
(It is also very reminiscent of other knitting/crochet needle/hook organizer located elsewhere on craftster)

Though I am now questioning my colour choices, I believe it worked out quite well. It should be a hit with the sister.
Thank you for stopping to take a look.

3  Re: she's NOT a beauty school drop out- cosmetology school graduate gift? in Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage by emog on: September 28, 2005 09:54:53 PM
My younger sister is also completing cosmetology school this week. I am in the process of making her a brush clutch. They also sell these at MAC, and they look something like this:

This is not a difficult project if you are looking to make your friend something. It is basically a glorified knitting needle/crochet hook wrap up carry all with pocket on either side.

I will likely be finished mine on Friday. If you are at all interested in seeing the final product, I can post a picture then.

Hope this has been of assistance to you.

Though I made this item quite some time ago, in the spirit of crafting, I will now share:
One simple brown bag (Pleased to carry those items that you just cannot leave at home)

This is my first posted picture, so please bear with me if it does not happen to work.
