Where is the link from Round 1 that shows what was in the Swap packages?   The link on page 1 doesn't take me to it.  Is it me or the link?

26  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: How do I find good homes for the creations I've made? on: November 07, 2009 06:19:51 PM
I was thinking of jewelry parties as well.  Even something like setting up a table in your school's cafeteria during the holidays (if they allow it) could result in some sales.
27  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: I Found a Non-Toxic Waterproof Fabric! Opinions Please! on: November 07, 2009 06:10:39 PM
OMG - walnut oil - that would be deadly for those with nut allergies.

$26 dollars a yard for the material you want?  Perhaps if they give volume discount you could find other people interested in combining their order with you to lower the per yard price.  How many wraps could you make per yard?  What would your unit cost be per unit?

28  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Realizing selling crafts isn't for you... on: November 07, 2009 06:05:39 PM
Crafting seems to be a popular trend right now.  Running any kind of business requires a lot of work.  Perhaps you could find someone to work with you that enjoys the administrative end of things.
The economy isn't particularly good right now and many people would rather buy inexpensive mass produced items rather than handmade.
