Very cute! Loves it!

Thanks so much!! <3

I would be proud too.

I want one. But I don't have the patience...or the eyesight...to do that.

Ohhh man... I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't see to stitch.  I would be so detroyed.  Actually, my hand is getting pretty messed up from it, now... got a thergonomic glove which seems to be helping some... Smiley

Thanks for the kind words!
312  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: how could i go about making a case for my mp3 player? on: May 23, 2007 05:21:58 PM

You can check out what I did for mine... because perforated plastic is so flexile Boris doesn't need to be rectangle to fit nicely!  Cross stitch isn't that hard if you haven't done it before, but i you don't want to do that, keep reading!  Somewhere on either page three or four is a specific tutorial I made for someone's mp3 you can check out to maybe give you a better idea.  Even if you don't wanna stitch, check out the tutorial... it'll probably help.

Wait.  Here.

This is the link to the tutorial I made for AnneR's mp3 player.  Hopefully this will give you some ideas.

Yes I have made one - it's been in use for ages now, so I guess I have to take a pic of it ?  Wink

I cut the "window" piece on the wrong end though, so the fit isn't great there, but it works. I'll see about the pic tomorrow! Smiley

Oh yay!!! I had thought you and every one else had given up on it!! So excited to see the pics!!!!  Grin <3

ironic!  I have a Creative Nano also!  I want to make a cozy for it because it's my baby and I want to keep it safe!  It's already getting scratched  Sad I need to try this!  It's been YEARS [over 6 to be exact] since i've tried ANY needlepoint/cross stitch.  Thanks for the pattern!

Glad to have helped!! Be sure to post a note on this topic when it's done with a link so I can see!!

To Emulatris: Glad to have gotten you started again!!  Be sure to post pics!!

I'd love to do something like this for myself and my man if only I knew how to, too fantastic for words Wink In the meantime, I'll just drool over it. You should be proud of yourself, I certainly would be if I were you Grin

Thanks so much, emulatris!  If you know how to cross stitch it's really not that hard... the hard part is coming up with a pattern small enough! XD

Anyways, thanks for the kind words!

That looks totally doable! I've printed your template, now to start cutting the plastic canvas so I can see what to stitch... Smiley

Thank you so much, you are my hero of the day!  Kiss

*Blush* I've never been someone's hero before!

On another note:

EEE!! *Squeal of excitement*

I'm so excited you're really going to do this!!! Be sure to post a link on here when you finish and get pictures up so I won't miss it!!!  I was worried you weren't going to see it, or something, but this is so great!  I was away in Greece and therefore not checking Craftster for quite a while, so I'm glad you found this after all that time!  I'm so happy I could share with someone!

Keep me posted!

Well, I have a Creative Zen nano plus 1gb - it's a wonderful size, holds all the music I need for my purposes (lunch walks) - but because my play/pause button is on the top right front side, the buttons go all the way down the right side and the earplug contact is on the top, I have almost nowhere I can close the case without "losing" some buttons...

Any help is of course appreciated, as I get very UNcreative in these matters...  Roll Eyes

Okay.  I've taken a look at some pictures, and I think you can totally do this.  You'll be limited in your pattern/cover design options because it's smaller than mine, but that's okay.  Here's what you do.  Each piece of plastic canvas needs to be cut out separately.  You need to cut one for the back which will be the full-size of one of the largest sides of the player.  Hang on... maybe a diagram would be easier.

Okay.  I worked one out, and posted on my Deviant Art Account.  Don't worry, you don't need an account to view it, just click the link.  Click the picture to make it full size.

I expect to see some pictures!

Haha, just kidding.  Don't feel any obligation to actually take a stab at this!
