11  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Cardi-Wrap or Cardi-Shawl on: October 12, 2005 06:49:10 PM
Ravenhaired, I just got the vogue pattern TODAY, I bought it from the vogue site you told me, seems the have only size 8 and up. I bought mine size 8. Usually I'm size 6 so I am going to experiment with size 8 and see how the sleeves fit me. Because is wrap style I don't think will be that noticeable. But you are right they don't have small sizes (right now)if that is what you are looking for.
Again I bought B (8-10-12), could not find either small sizes.
And the worst thing is that  they named the Cardi Wrap/Shawl as "Jacket" (too general ) and that limited my search for a similar pattern in the Vogue Site and could not find something  smaller for you.
That's why I was so amazed and happy when you gave me exactly what I wanted for long time. (thank you again)
I know, I know this didn't help you. Cry

I apologize for my English
12  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / Re: Transfer Using Goo Gone and Photocopies??? on: October 11, 2005 07:33:02 PM
Heyy Jhoulezl,
The site is incredible, need more time to read it, the tut is awesome.
I was in the Artisans choice website trying to figure out how to use the Transfer Goop, it's nice to hear from you that works well.
Thanks for the newspaper advice. I have 2 photos of my daughter's cat, photos are in black and white, used photoshop (LOVE IT). So the plan is simple, will print in laser, using thick paper as you said, and experiment with the goop thingy and transfer that image in a T-shirt. (These are going to be Christmas gifts).

Thanks again your are GREAT!!!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

amyshrugged, I'm waiting to be inspired by your transfers (I check this thread everyday) I already have a couple of images I'm going to make them small to do some testing with the "Transfer Goop"  tomorrow.
Wish me luck.

That Hoodie just not turned OK. Is awesome.  How long took you to finish it?
I live in Denver, winter is loooooooong. I have other projects in mind, but I liked this one very much for my daughter, that's the only type of sweaters/hoodies she wares (uses). And honestly I'm very impress with your work, congratulations. Grin Keep the excellent work.

*Excuse my English* Ahh dont forget to post the other 2 ribby cardis
15  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Bad things at Target on: October 11, 2005 04:04:49 PM
That's one of the zillion reasons I tried to avoid Target. Did you forget to buy the Jelly Beans?
I always  buy half of my groceries, I get distracted very easily in the craft and dollar sections.
You are lucky!!! Very nice shopping.
OHhhh and I have bad news too, a new Target store just opened very close where I live soooooooo I will sacrifice myself going there to see bad things. Cheesy

rjn_nyc, I just came for the knitting forum and Prunille already told me about that www, it is really a good one (website), and love the pattern too, its really different but still has what I was looking for, the wrap or shawl things, besides they have the patterns in crochet and knitting so makes it better and better.
It looks that is a lot of work, Please post your creation when you are done. I will try the Vogue pattern first (I already bought it) waiting for it. And then I will buy the one you have. I think one cardi wrap is not enough for me.
17  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: ideas for a lace wrap/cardi/shrug, anyone ? on: October 10, 2005 02:44:04 PM
Prunille, thank you, prettier than the classic one. The price for the pattern is worth it!
I just bought a Vogue pattern, waiting for it. But the link you send me to is GREAT!!!!! Will try both of them. Im a newbie in everything but I will post whatever I do.

Thank U again. I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!!!!

Ravenhaired, Thank U, Thank U. I went to their page (vogue) link worked just fine and I never saw that pattern before, believe me I been looking for exactly you just gave me. I'm going to check into local stores for pattern availability otherwise I will buy the pattern on line. Yes I will post my creation.
Plus, if the cardi wrap ends looking decent... I know what to make for Christmas gifts.

I welcome myself because I'm a newbie in here, I'm soooooooooooo happy!!!!
Anyway, need your help. I already post same question in the knitting room, but will make my life easier if someone has a pattern for this:

Just think about it! We can be warm, look nice and at the same time hide those extra calories? curves? from everywhere Angry, that's why I'm in love with the Cardi wrap, but can't find at least something similar to start a pattern. (sleeves will not be a problem).
If someone need more pics, I can post them. Just let me know.
