how many skeins of brown sheep bulky did you use?  was it 1 or 2 skeins?

I spent nearly a month on this frikkin' thing...didn't get it done until Christmas eve!
yarns used were RY classic cashsoft aran for the front,
and caron simply soft for the back.
I got the stitch pattern from the 2004 winter issue of vogueknitting.
