I claim Princessandthebead for a fun scarf. This is my 3rd wish but the first was received. I'm in the US

Here are my wishes:

I am desperate for Arm warmers, any kind

A Hat: I love this one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=57584.0

Or a kitty hat (black w/ pink inside ears or just black) knit, fleece, or whatever Thanks Dangerkitty!

Or a Chicken Viking hat  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=21342.0

Or a Panta (any color but I'd be your best friend if it was green)

Or a Hallowig from Knitty (!)

Or a baby Yoda hat for my nephew (who isn't quite born yet but I already want to spoil like mad!)

Or one with skulls, stripes or something like that

I have a pretty big head  Undecided  (and cold ears!)

A kimono fabric hobo bag like this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=56519.0 (I am in LOVE with the indigo/orange one!)

Or the necktie schoolbag (I love the burgundy/black/grey/paisley colored one but any colors will work) http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=45985.0;topicseen

Vintagey/kitschy embroidered or appliqued kitchen towels (fawns, mermaids, pinups, swallows, mexicana, cowgirls, pretty much anything from sublime stitching, my kitchen is green with accents in pink, orange, red, so anything will do!)
Thanks Crafty_Dame!

Decor items for my bedroom, which is pink and gold; something sexy, maybe 1920's, art nouveau, vintage nude, Japanese cherry blossom, something pretty and glam (I saw a gorgeous Louise Brooks embroidery on craftster http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=59537.0 ) or this Anthropologie frame: http://www.anthropologie.com/jump.jsp?itemID=8543&itemType=PRODUCT&iSubCat=451&iMainCat=381

Some kind of cute embroidery or other wall art for my bathroom, which is kind of a modern take on shabby chic, in light blue and white: a mermaid or nude maybe?

Anthropologie inspired items for bathroom, bedroom, kitchen or accessories!

Porn by numbers

Something vintagey looking for my kitchen that says "I'm not a fast cook. I'm not a slow cook. I'm a half-fast cook" with maybe a 1950's housewife image. Thanks Princess Blueberry!

Something Omiyage

Something Day of the Dead or Loteria inspired

A stuffed black squirrel, either in the style of those felt monster/kitty type toys or amigurumi. I never saw a black squirrel till I moved here, but there's one on my street. His name is Jimmy. He refuses to be photographed.

a knitted uterus (cause...why not...) (especially one that could contain a heatable bag of seeds & lavender for crampish times)

the infamous lipstick girl cozy http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=39172.0

monster slippers (size 8-9)

A cool microscope slide necklace (I'm learning to make these but haven't got it yet)

Something Bollywood related

A Gromit (knit, felt, anything) (Sean the sheep or Feathers McGraw would be fun too)

A bowl's worth of funny fruit/veggies or eggs (knit, crochet, felt, as long as it's kitschy)

A vintagey rectangular tablecloth (pm me for dimensions) I love the ruffled ones on Anthropologie, or a cowgirl print, or anything fun, really. My DR is grey & mocha with red chairs but almost any colors will work.

Thanks for all your hard work, Crafty Dame!
5993  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: In desperate need of some Christmas music. on: November 07, 2005 06:53:15 AM
I like the Cerys Matthews/Tom Jones "Baby it's cold outside" and the Pretenders "2000 Miles". And the Charlie Brown music is the best, but not really sing along-ish. I'll have to check out those indie comps for sure!

http://www.sciplus.com has a random assortment of glass containers as well. Let us know how it goes, I plan to make some too!

This would be more for next year, but you can make homemade vanilla extract by splitting vanilla beans and soaking them in brandy or vodka for 6-12 months. Then you can pour them into little bottles and make a nice label. My first batch will be ready for the hols!

It's an amazing fabric store on Grand....umm...not sure the address actually but it's across from Kowalski's and next to a used book store and a Tibetan restaurant. East of Macalester.

I claim Goldfish Girl for something goldfishy. This my SECOND wish! I'm in Minnesota

Here are my wishes:

I am desperate for Arm warmers, any kind but especially thin and dark and solid colored for work...my dream is black or green pointelle, (or grey, or burgundy or brown...) but anything thinish and soft and rather long, OR fun ones for at home) These are the ideal, if only they weren't pink! http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=9748&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainCat=77&iSubCat=555&iProductID=9748 I like the just-a-bit-longer-than-wrist length.

A Hat: I love this one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=57584.0

Or a kitty hat (black w/ pink inside ears or just black) knit, fleece, or whatever Thanks Dangerkitty!

Or a Chicken Viking hat (just cause I laugh every time I see it! I could see it becoming the official    Thanksgiving Chef's Hat!) http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=21342.0

Or a Panta (any color but I'd be your best friend it was green)

Or a Hallowig from Knitty (!)

Uh-oh! I am still just getting to know my little neighborhood so I haven't ventured out shopping anywhere else yet. But one visit to Treadle inspired me to beg for my Grandma's old sewing machine and learn to sew!!

We should all get together sometime, take over a Starbucks, and do some beading or knitting or something... Need something fun to help get through the blah Minnesota January and February.

That would be awesome!

Hi-
I'm Lori, I'm 38, single, and recently moved to St. Paul for a job (I'm a librarian). I don't know anyone and I'd love to learn more about what's cool in the TC! So far I like it a lot (and I recently went to the Bead Monkey for the first time, it's great!)  Smiley
