An embroidery for my bedroom, which is pink and gold; something sexy, maybe 1920's, art nouveau, vintage nude, Japanese cherry blossom, something pretty and glam (I saw a gorgeous Louise Brooks one on craftster http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=59537.0 ) or other decor items in that vein would be nice too!

Some kind of cute embroidery or other wall art for my bathroom, which is kind of a modern take on shabby chic, in light blue and white: a mermaid or nude maybe?

Uh-oh! I am still just getting to know my little neighborhood so I haven't ventured out shopping anywhere else yet. But one visit to Treadle inspired me to beg for my Grandma's old sewing machine and learn to sew!!

We should all get together sometime, take over a Starbucks, and do some beading or knitting or something... Need something fun to help get through the blah Minnesota January and February.

Why yes, it is!  I combined "Corinthian" and "Nouveau" as they were the closest I could find to Pink Dino's example. After I shipped I got inspired to add brown "Voodoo" into the combo for a friend's Christmas pressy as Voodoo is on clearance at my local Joanne's. I like it! May have to do one for me!

I have one, but if I ever have a weiner dog I am definitely naming him "Torso"! 

Nest posted a good idea about making reed fragrance diffusers, along with sources. They might be a bit pricey for larger groups, but not so bad for smaller ones.
Someone else also posted a really nice idea about "wish ornaments" and boxes recently.
