i have seen more detailed work too on different scales, but later as your skin changes it often becomes blurry (i can't really describe it well).
i too have a lot of tattoo artist friends, and my FI has 20+ tattoos, he has a few that the detail has blurred/bled, however you want to describe it - and they were done by some of the best artist around - who told him they would do that - but he just went ahead with the detail anyways.

i think this in outlines with no fill would be amazing. with some shading. but for sure check with your artisit - they all are so different!

but it is going to be on your body - so just make sure you love it.

most artist are going to have you make it more simple. probably less circles coming from the head and less detail overall. depending on the size you are going with.

i personally like the two-sided version. but i'd add some space between the flower and the web address.

also, make sure your capitalization is consistent throughout the piece.

personally i would not put my full name on the card, unless people knew i had a business and were familiar with my name. i think the business name should be what people remember, not exactly your name - that's just a marketing thing in my opinion.

also, design wise - the colors are great, but make sure you give them the exact pms you want, otherwise your brown could come out really muddy.

the one closest to me is the hampton/renovated store. but they were low on paris stuff, so i picked up most of it at the lindbergh/55 store.

i've already signed up, but as a late xmas gift i got a eiffel tower wine rack! it's so simple and neat... i love it.
i already have a few ideas for this swap...

if anyone is interested, there are some paris themed things in the $1 bin at target right now. i picked up notebooks, wine plates, napkin rings and salt and pepper shakers.

we are dancing to that jets song as our first song at our wedding (what an annoying sentence!)
