This is a great idea. I'm only 14 weeks, so I haven't really started experimenting with making my own stuff yet, as its my first and Im not entirely sure how big I'm going to get *looks worried*. However, as soon as I do, I'll be sure to post!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: DIY Maternity Jeans with tutorial on: April 07, 2006 08:07:29 AM
I'm so glad I saw this before I bought some of the nasty maternity jeans in the shops. I'm only 14 weeks, but already my jeans are digging in and making life a pain in the arse. I plan on making some of these, and I will post pictures!
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: Michael Jackson messenger bag?! (pictures) on: February 24, 2006 11:52:30 AM
I was really excited when I saw this post, becaused I botched a MJ 'Michael is innocent' messenger bag ages ago, and it still sits in my unfinished prejects bin waiting to be saved, or scrapped.

I love making pom poms, but never know what to do with them. I actually thought of making a pom pom scarf, in a similar stylee to the horrible rabbit fur ones that were in fashion this winter, but of course never got round to it! you have inspired me!

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / 50/50 wool angora HELP! on: November 07, 2005 05:12:06 PM
Hello fellow knitters,

I'm planning on making the 'yorick' scarf off knittyhttp://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall05/PATTyorick.html as a christmas present for my ex boyfriend, however, as I always have at least 5 projects on the go at any time, I need to get cracking, and I cant find the right wool!!!!

Basically, The wool used isn't available in the uk as far as I know, and I don't have a good yarn shop nearby to find a good substitute.I've been searching online with no luck, so the question is......

Do you know any brands of 50/50 wool angora yarn availalbe in the uk, or online?

Thank you in advance for your help!!!
