1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / FOs: Butterfly + Klaralund on: March 20, 2006 12:01:46 PM
I had started both these projects towards the end of last year and I only just finished the both of them together. Granted, I took about 3 weeks off to knit my KO's project. Anyway, I love them both and thought I will share them with you gals!

Click on the pics for more details.

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Madli's Shawl on: March 06, 2006 12:29:51 PM
This is my first completed lace knits using laceweight yarn. I love it and am very amazed at how a good blocking can make lace looks so much more gorgeous!

The pattern is called Madli's Shawl and is from Interweave Knits Summer 2004. The yarn used is Jaggerspun Zephyr.

3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Are they good enough to be sold? on: February 03, 2006 07:22:06 AM
I had been beading on and off for a year now. My FSIL is convinced that there is a market out there for my beaded jewellry and so I had setup a 'shop' of some kind using blogspot. Anyway, here are some of my creation, what do you think? Would you buy them?

You can check out the rest at Jadalica's Beadradise if you are interested. I am hoping you will be.  Tongue I will appreciate feedback of any kind. Thank you very much for looking.

I just finished this a few days ago and I loved it!   Grin

I used 4.5skeins of Rowan Felted Tweed in Cocoa and I made the 32" version with some adjustments to fit me better.

You can find more details about this FO on my blog at http://beeknits.blogspot.com/2006/01/cocoa-salina.html

Hi All,

I had a pack of Noro Shinano that I am eager to start knitting with. Any suggestions what it would looke good as. I was thinking of either Rogue(http://girlfromauntie.com/patterns/shop/rogue/detail.php) or the Ribby Cardi(http://www.chicknits.com/catalog/ribbycardi.html).

Gauge: 18 sts by 24rows
Yardage: 1090yds

Any other suggestion is definately welcome!
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / What to do with 20 balls of Jaeger Chamonix on: October 05, 2005 08:29:02 AM
Hello,
I recently acquired 20 balls of Jaeger chamonix at 50% off. Any suggestions on what I should do with it? I would like to make a nice, fitting sweater for it. Still scouting for a pattern but have not come across anything impressive.
