331  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / embossing with a blowdryer? on: November 08, 2006 08:18:24 PM
I want to try embossing some stamp stuff for cards, but I don't want to buy an embossing heat gun. Does anyone know if a regular hair dryer would work?

make sure there is no regular paper in the tray that it is grabbing the card stock from. Sometimes that helps mine.

get 12x12 scrapbook paper with a cool print on it, and have that be the main backing...that way if you don't find enough stuff from magazines it won't be empty. I usually use ones with stars on it...and then i cover everything with clear contact paper so it won't rip when i throw it in my bag

have fun!

335  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / vellum paper and glue on: October 02, 2005 11:02:47 PM
Does anyone know what kind of adhesive I can use with vellum paper in my scrapbook? Regular paper glue leaves spots and wrinkles....
Sad
Thanks!
