I think the flap is a little too small width wise. I personally carry a bunch of little stuff in my bag, and looks like someone can either stick their sticky fingers in the sides or the first time it tips over, all my little things will tumble out of the holes.

ya, use whatever they sell at Joanns cuz that's the only place that sells it, At least in Dallas.
As far as tips go... It sticks to the presser foot, so use old reciepts under it and on top of it to get it to slide through. you could probably use regular computer paper also.
Good Luck.

Hey these are great! I really like the linen combo you do with the fabrics, reminds me of the Japanese craft book asthetic. I love the long tall magazine one especially. And nice job cutting out the OM symbol (that couldn't have been easy.)  Keep up the good work!

Well I've gone and used that wonderful invention Iron-on Vinyl again. This time on wool.
Lemme know whacha think.

Inside:

 and a game peeking out

still need to trim those little threads, and you can see where i messed up a bit, the vinyl doesnt like to let go of the presser foot, so i used some old receipts under and on top of it to get it to go thru.
