11  Re: Craft My Christmas Swap (US & Canada) Gallery in The Swap Gallery by beans on: December 15, 2005 03:27:34 PM
I received from carolb today. I love everything! Here are some pics.

The box in the back is the box that everything came in. I have two things to open Christmas morning, the green and the gold. A magazine (magazines and newspapers are definitely in short supply in this town), some candy, really neat snowflake cookie cutters (they have little pieces to take out some middle parts to really make it look like paper-cut-out snowflakes) and a sock monkey ornament. And here is the piece do resistance:

A sock monkey stocking! It's fantastic. Here is Sock Ernest Monkey enjoying the stocking

Thanks so much, Carol!

12  Spiders with a home in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by beans on: November 06, 2005 11:57:27 AM
Hey everyone, my boyfriend and I made these spiders for Halloween, but I think we are going to keep it up all year and add more spiders to it!

I saw the spiders here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=54357.0
We made the web from black crochet thread and the flat thumbtacks. (there is nothing in our lease that says no holes in the walls!)

Here's my little blue cozy for my littleblue iPod mini. The 'button' is a bead from a necklace that I never wore.
