I made them all using fimo. I played around with the colors till I thought it looked right. I used to do acrylic paining EONS ago in school and figured that if I could mix paint to get the colors I wanted, surely I could mix clay. The ham is a mix of pink and brown, the outside part is translucent mixed with a yellow. The meatloaf is just two shades of brown chopped up real fine and then blended together. The spaghetti is translucent mixed with a touch of yellow, and the meatballs are the same as the meatloaf. The roast beef was a little tricker. It ended up being a deep red with a brown, with the layer of translucent and yellow. The spaghetti sauce and the ketchup on the meatloaf are clear gallery glass mixed with paint. I put them on little porcelain platters, and clearcoated them. The platters are in inch and a half long if that give you an idea of how big they are.
This is my first post to craftster, and my first attempt at clay food. I used Fimo. I collect dollhouse miniatures, and decided to make some of my own. From upper left, ham....roast beef....meatloaf...and spaghetti and meatballs.
