etsy is slooowww loading for me too right now.

I've been taking a break from listing things, and I really notice the slow down in my sales. It's so true, you have to keep listing stuff constantly so at least you're getting hits from being towards the front of the newly listed items.

I hope etsy is rolling out some new goodies for us today, that would explain the slowness.. hope so..

I've sent half of my 6 pairs so far  Cheesy But to my partners, I'm not in a big rush to recieve, do not stress.  I'm just used to shipping quick because I use online postage. It's way too easy.

18  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Tote bags on: January 30, 2006 12:08:46 PM
Oh what a fun score Smiley I might sew on a patch pocket over the design with the pocket lined so the design is covered even inside that pocket.. know what I mean, like sewing a flat baggie onto the tote while leaving the top open heh. Post pics!!
19  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Please Help - I Need A Sewing Table on: January 29, 2006 04:27:23 PM
Are you talking about a sewing cabinet? The kind that your machine sits in, and the table surface is level with the machine's bed... and it closes up with the machine hidden inside..

If that's what you want, search for sewing cabinet, not table Cheesy and measure before buying. Not all machines fit all cabinets. Vintage machines and vintage cabinets, I can help you with, (information type help, I'm not selling any cabinets) but if it's a new machine I wouldn't have a clue except to say check out nancysnotions.com and clotilde.com for ideas and then try to find something used.

There was a thread somewhere about making your own sewing or quilting  table, people were cutting a space out from a plain old desk and setting the machine down in that to make it a big flat sewing surface (bad description i know) I know there are tuts out there for table modifications.

I turned half of my closet into one of those when I was a kid. I remember using tons of those self sticky metalic office supply stars..
