1  Help finding a Hoodie Pattern in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by dj_jammer506 on: January 10, 2009 11:51:17 AM
I'm going to be crocheting a hoodie for a friend, and I'm looking for something like this:

I like the shortness of it, but any patterns would be great to see.

THANKS!

3  Victorian Bustle Dress - Senior Project in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by dj_jammer506 on: June 08, 2008 10:57:07 PM
At my school to as a requirement to graduate, the schools have decided to make the class below me, 2010, complete a Senior Project.

This project includes, but is not limited to:
 - 8-10 Page Research Paper.
 - A Solid Thesis gained from Research.
 - A Completed Relevent Product.
 - A 5-15 Minute Presentation in front of a panel of judges.

In my AP English III class, we were given the pleasure to be the Guinea Pigs for this project.

For mine I chose to research Victorian Fashion. That part was interesting enough...

But the real interesting part was my product, for this I had decided to sew a Victorian Bustle Dress.

Hours upon Hours of work... No Fun!

But I finished, and I'm almost positive I passed with flying colors.

Anyway, here are some pictures.

My Loverly BFF - Xiao Fu.

No lie, one of the judges thought this picture was taken back in Victorian Times in Asia... I had just taken it the day before he saw it. I laughed. lol

A Full-View of The Dress.

4  Umm... Help! in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by dj_jammer506 on: January 08, 2008 04:12:35 PM
So, I've been commissioned by a friend to try and recreate a dress for her... Normally, that'd be easy. I'm a good seamstress... even though I'm a guy... lol

Anyway, This...

Is the skirt. It's a two peice dress with an overbust corset on top.

The rest of the dress can be seen through the link.

I really need help finding a skirt pattern for something similar... So, Umm... Help?

5  Re: Wind up doll? in Halloween Costumes by dj_jammer506 on: September 12, 2006 11:56:24 PM
Something that is a lot more common and can be found alot easier is a Tape Measurer.

That's personally how I'd do it, I'd make the "tape" look like string or attach string somehow and add a pull part from something.

Hope I helped.
