1  Re: Its Always Crafty in Philadelphia Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by strwberesh0rtcke on: January 30, 2011 02:46:16 PM
Hi guys,

First of all, I just wanted to apologize for being MIA for the past bunch of days.. I had a family emergency and a bunch of other issues that I had to take care of and I definitely put this swap on the back burner. I really do apologize. imafundork has been incredibly patient and understanding while waiting for my package to arrive, which was finally put in the mail yesterday! Also, I will work on giving everyone else feedback in the next hour.

Thanks for making this swap incredibly awesome! I've really enjoyed seeing everyone's packages!

-Ilana

Now, onto the incredibly awesome package that I received! Sorry for the crappy webcam quality haha:

First up:
The most freaking incredible embroider ever! She's seriously talented!

Next:
OMG I am obsessed with this travel ceramic coffee mug that she hand painted and had her friend fire it! It has all of my most favorite quotes on it.

She even gave me some Starbucks ready brew coffee to put in my new cup!

Thank you so so so much imafundork! I hope you like your package as much as I like mine! And again, I am so so so sorry how late I am!

3  Re: Journal for a month swap GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by strwberesh0rtcke on: December 24, 2010 07:59:28 PM
Wow! Everyone's journals are so crazy good! It definitely puts the one I made to shame Undecided. Jessy, I hope you like it anyway!

Anyway, here is my three favorite pages from the one JessySihk sent me! I loved reading it, and I think I can definitely do that favor that you asked of me! Also, Please let me know if you prefer me to remove any or all of these pictures due to your confidentiality.

She also sent me the two most awesome embroideries which are currently hanging on my wall! The only problem is that I didn't take a picture of it before going home to my parents' for the holidays.. so I will definitely post an update with pics, once I am back!

Thank you so so so much for everything Jessy! I promise that yours is on it's way out after the craziness of this month! It is all packaged and ready to be sent out once the post office reopens!

Ahh, I am so behind in posting pictures! I am so sorry! But here are the AMAZING two packages that I received this week! Sorry for the crappy webcam pics, my digital cam is on the fritz.

First up, a ridiculously cute embroidery hoop from nilmerg. She put so much detail into it, it's unbelievable! I am sooo excited about it! It is my first hoop for my wall!!

And if that wasn't enough, she also sent the most adorable fabric strawberry magnets! They are currently on my space heater because it was the first magnetic surface I could find in my rush to hang them up! Don't worry, I'll take them off prior to turning it on haha Cheesy

She also sent the nicest letter and some candies from Australia (which aren't pictured because they promptly ended up in my stomach haha)

Thanks so so so so much nilmerg! Everything is amazing!

Next up is a ton of scrapbook stuff and erasers from redpopsicles

Included is three packages of paper, which I desperately needed, two packages of stickers which I immediately ripped open and used in my journal for the journal for a month swap! Also there's a bunch of patterned paper which will be great for my scrapbook for my trip to Costa Rica (which was a year ago, and I have yet to start. woops haha) and stamps, scissors and a ton of cute erasers! I especially love the turtle ones! Thanks so much redpopsicles

5  Re: Wist Swap October 2010 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by strwberesh0rtcke on: December 08, 2010 03:44:42 PM
Ahhh, I am soo sorry that I didn't post pictures yet! It has been seriously the craziest two weeks ever! But anyway, here they are now! I received the most incredible package from the lovely Giddiup222. These pictures obviously do not do it justice, since all I have is a crappy webcam, so Giddiup222 if you have better ones, please feel free to post em! But seriously, everything is super awesome!

Also just a warning, apparently I cannot take pictures by myself without making ridiculous faces. Don't judge, it's been a long day haha Roll Eyes

First up, an awesome earflap hat and a gorgeous bird necklace! Usually, I don't really like jewelry, but this is right from my wist and I LOVE IT!

Next up, get this! She made me an entire winter ensemble completely sewn by her! Including: Another ear flap hat!

Andddddd a scarf and mittens! How cool is this! And everything is super warm and fuzzy!

Seriously, these pictures do not do everything justice! Thank you soooo sooo soo much again! Everything is so well done!  Cheesy

8  Re: I <3 Autumn Gallery in The Swap Gallery by strwberesh0rtcke on: October 27, 2010 03:18:00 PM
I received from crazyda79 today!! I even skipped my yoga class because I was so excited to get home and open it! Unfortunately, all I have are webcam pics because batteries exploded in my camera and broke it Embarrassed, so crazyda79, if you have better pictures please feel free to post them!

So I told her that I LOVE to bake! So she went with that general idea!

In the picture, there is a crafted autumn wreath, 3 wooden spoons that she embellished! One she even woodburned a leaf onto! Craziness Grin., 2 leaf hand towels/pot holders, an apple potholder, and a pumpkin scrubbie!

Extras! pens, apple notepad, and a candy apple lipgloss!

My Favs! The cutest, tiniest autumn cookie cutters and recipe book! I literally squealed when I saw the cookie cutters! I just started getting into decorating with royal icing, so I think some tiny leaf sugar cookies are going to be made soon!

Thanks so much again! And again I apologize for the crappy pictures!

9  Re: One Tiny Mustache Thing Gallery in The Swap Gallery by strwberesh0rtcke on: September 23, 2010 07:37:20 PM
Okay, here is the crazy incredible package that I received! I'm sorry for the crappy webcam pics, Zidisha if you have better photos, please feel free to post them! Anyway, I opened it up and found the cutest card with a hand drawing of a mustache. And underneath of it was this:

Front:

Back:

It also has my name written on the handle! So cute! I will definitely be using it every morning to drink my coffee!

And if that wasn't enough on it's own, she also made me a HUMONGOUS mixed paper notebook! It must of taken her forever. It was something that I have always wanted since I have seen the awesome ones on Craftster. I wanted to take a picture of each page, but I picked a couple of my favs!

1) She explained that a lot of the pictures included are vintage photographs from the 1800's!

2) Included in it were also hand painted pages, and hand drawn pictures of mustache like this one!

This one says: "anatomy of a PERFECT mustache" "excessive business, distinguished downward angle, slight upward curve, adequate lip coverage"

So freaking cute. I love it all. Thanks soooo much again!
