I love the embossing - it adds something really special to the whole card, which I love (big sucker for Oz-related things!)

Your quilling is so delicate and tiny, I can't imagine how much patience you must have! Great job Smiley

Thank you Smiley

On the inside of the card, on the right-hand side, I've pasted those two papers in reverse, so there's another calm space for me to put in a meaningful quotation.

I love the one with the leaves!! Are they stamped and then hand-coloured?

I have been away from Craftster for SO long....

...now that I'm posting again, here's my latest card, made from thick card and scrapbooking paper. It's about 13cmx13cm, with a 14.5cmx14.5cm envelope which I made from a large square sheet of scrapbooking paper. (I love to make my own envelopes!)

The Taj Mahal/Indian colour theme is because the recipient taught a course on South Asian literature.

I REALLY like the colour combinations - they make the cards really pop out at you...anyone would be lucky to get one of these Smiley

I can't imagine how much patience you must have to sew on all the sequins and beads!
