11  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Allons-y! on: September 22, 2012 11:15:42 PM

My oldest daughter's birthday is coming up next month.  She is a huge Doctor Who fan and especially loves the 10th Doctor.  I decided to make him in finger puppet form for her.

If anyone is interested in the pattern, it is on my blog.  http://crochetbot3000.blogspot.com/2012/09/allons-y.html  Thanks for looking  Cheesy
12  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Have You Tried Turning It Off and On Again? on: August 31, 2012 12:01:17 PM

I love The I.T. Crowd and I have been wanting to make Jen, Roy and Moss in puppet form since I discovered the show about a year ago.  The only problem I had was finding someone to give them to.  It finally dawned on me that I didn't have to give them to anyone and that I could keep them for my very own Smiley

13  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Hey Homies! (lots of pics) on: August 03, 2012 09:42:34 PM

My husband and our 4 children are huge Aquabats fans, so it was a no-brainer for me to make the band in finger puppet form.  As I was trying to decide which kid would get these, my husband claimed them for his own Smiley

15  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / I Pity the Fool... on: May 07, 2012 09:00:01 PM

I recently forced persuaded my 8 year old son to watch the A-team with me.  After some initial grumbling and complaining, he soon discovered that he loved it.  Because I have a compulsive need to make my kids' favorite characters into finger puppets, I decided to make the A-team.  I am not sure how the other A-team members will turn out, but B.A. Baracus is finished  Grin

If anyone is interested, I have posted the pattern on my blog.  http://crochetbot3000.blogspot.com/2012/05/ba-baracus.html

The rest of the gang is up on my blog with the patterns.  I am not going to post the pictures here because they are pretty bland, but you can click on the link if you want to see them Smiley  http://crochetbot3000.blogspot.com/2012/05/team.html
16  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Phunky Brimmed Beanie on: January 18, 2012 10:14:34 AM

It does not get that cold out here in AZ during the winter months but I still like to make winter hats for my kids.  The older ones won't wear them that often but my little guy is too young to know any better Smiley

If anyone is interested, the pattern can be found on my blog: http://crochetbot3000.blogspot.com/2012/01/phunky-brimmed-beanie-thats-ph-for.html

Thank you for looking!
17  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / The Avengers Finger Puppets on: October 29, 2011 08:10:41 PM
I made these for my nephew's 8th birthday and am so excited to give them to him.  He and his parents are the kind of people who really appreciate hand-made gifts.  I know these will be well loved and well taken care of.  I kind of wish I could keep them myself but my daughter has a set of Justice League finger puppets and I am told by the comic book lovers in my life that DC and Marvel don't mix Wink  At least I know they are going to a good home.
Captain America
Iron Man

Thor

Thanks for looking   Cheesy

18  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Is he strong? Listen bud, he's got radioactive blood. on: August 15, 2011 09:16:46 PM

My 3 year old nephew begged me to make him a Spider-Man finger puppet.  Since he seemed so excited about it, I decided to get right to work and make him one.  When I was about halfway done, he informed me that he no longer wanted Spider-Man but wanted Batman instead.   Shocked  Hopefully once he sees this one he will want Spider-Man again.  If not, well, my son will claim it for himself Cheesy
