1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / can you help me find an old post? on: September 28, 2006 11:00:08 PM
it was a knitted hat that someone made for her halloween costume. she was a 1930's gunslinger. i saw the post last year sometime (after halloween) but don't remember when. it was a really cute little hat on the finish project page. i did a search and can't find it.

does anyone else remember this?

i knit the bubby bear from this months knitty http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall05/PATTbubby.html

i think that he turned out pretty darn cute Smiley
i had thiner yarn so i knit him up on size US#3 dpn's. he turned out to be about 6 inches high. the yarn was an angora acrylic blend that i picked up at a yard sale.

(i linked the image from my blog. if you can't see it you can check there http://babyburger.blogspot.com/2005/10/baby-knits.html
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / yarn scraps pillow- now with pattern! on: September 14, 2005 02:18:01 PM

i knit this using yarn leftovers. the pattern is my own and i made the buttons out of fimo clay. it should be a little more square shaped, but i don't have enough stuffing in it yet. size is 11-inches by 9.5-inches.
