1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Shirt Sleeve Cuff = Credit Card Sleeve on: January 12, 2006 11:05:41 PM
Pun intended.   Cheesy

Bought my mister a shirt with this intentional dilemma in mind:
   1.  Maybe he will like it?  Yay.  I did a good thing for him... and that makes me happy.
   2.  Maybe he won't like it?  Yay.  That means I get to cut it up and make something good... and that makes me happy.

It was a few months ago when I bought it, and it has been sitting around waiting for me to decide what to make out of it, because of course, the mister did not like it.  Something about it struck me when I caught it out of the corner of my eye, and here's what happened:

Fits my cc's perfectly.  Love it.   Grin  And it only took about 10 minutos!
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Not your momma's oven mit... on: December 10, 2005 10:57:25 PM
This is my first post after being a several-month-long-lurker:

Just started getting into quilting, and here's my first project--a quilted oven mit!  Used some scraps of Amy Butler fabric and some pants I cut off this summer.  I used it today, and it works great.  Got the pattern from Denyse Schmit Quilts book.  Love that book!  Have a look-see:
