1  Re: Post your CRAFTY Tattoos! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by tigercub_wabbit on: October 22, 2011 11:05:01 AM
It's been a long time since I've posted *and* since I got this tattoo (this was my second, and I got 2 more since), but here goes:

it's embroidered into my arm, and it says 'make' - to remind myself to never stop making  - creating, doing, making a change.

so, here is the great package dbear sent my brother, Sa'ar.
he was ecstatic, and took most of the pictures himself (except for the ones with himself in them, of course)

a wonderful System of a Down messenger bag:

two crocheted hats (after watching Monty Python's Meaning of Life he came to the conclusion that he should wear hats more often):

a wonderful duct tape wallet with all kinds of sayings written in and on it:

a GREAT Jack Skellington (from the Nightmare Before Christmas) T-shirt, wich he wears the second it gets out of laundry (since thursday he already wore it  twice)

and last but by no means least, a CD:

which he loved

thank you so much, dbear,

and thank you MaxParadise for organizing this great swap!!![/color]

4  Re: Craft for my Person of Choice Swap (Sign-Ups: CLOSED, Send Outs 7/24 ) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by tigercub_wabbit on: June 26, 2008 04:04:00 PM
so I decided to let you see my brother, for whom dbear is crafting....
it was taken last september, he has since gotten a haircut.

and hello Pink-Josy. I'm so excited to be crafting for a boy! I'm thinking of ideas, and my brother is helping me with all the ben-10 and transformers stuff (he thinks I'm angeling for a "craft for my child" swap and is completely clueless.

a beautiful card, made with watercolors & a pencil sketch

I am exhausted from trying to keep everyone else happy

I don't like how Image Concious I have become

I wish he was more romantic

7  Re: A Jar of Mini Whimsies Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by tigercub_wabbit on: May 11, 2008 10:26:09 AM
I'm horrible. a week late, I'm posting photos of the great whimsies SlickMariaVic sent me!!!
three mini-skeins she's spun:

the whole thing:

and detail shots (a mini jar with chicks, choc-cinnamon Altoids (YUM!), a teeny-weenie deck of cards, the beautiful postcard she sent me, a beautiful bag charm, a cool shell earring and a mother-of-pearl pendant

and the jar I chose to put it all in (SlickMaria sent it in a ziplock bag so that I don't get glass shards in a box):

9  Re: Opinions for potential recons wanted!! in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by tigercub_wabbit on: February 07, 2008 04:13:30 PM
I have some simple ideas....
I actually adore everything about the first one except for the sleeves, so I'd say chop them off and finish the armholes.....

the second one, I say just go strapless (I'd also  save the sleevesand wear them with it)

the last one..... take out theshoulder pads and make the whole thing fitted.
you could make the sleeves more fitted

OR... (I just thought of this)take out the sleeves, tighten the armholes and stitch the sleeves back in as they are and you'll get poofy sleeves. if you do this, I think it'll look better with short sleeves (you can make the bottom band of the sleeve from the bottom of the long sleeves.)

*if that's really a big pocket on your left hip, I'd go completely mad and add a top band to that and bottom band to the short poofy sleeves made of some ribbing in a contrasting colour, and maybe a cute applique*
