1  iphone case in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by scenequeenpissed on: November 28, 2007 03:18:19 PM
I was really excited to get an iPhone. I was not excited about their lack of cute/non-leather cases. I actually yelled at the guy in the Apple store about it and told him to bring it up in store meetings. I don't think he's actually going to do it, though.

So I totally made this up as I went along but it turned out not half bad?

This was a test run and eventually I'll make a better one when I get motivation again. I'd like to add a handle, maybe more pockets, or really just make an entire wallet/purse designed around my phone.

3  tattoo flash hangers in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by scenequeenpissed on: December 24, 2006 05:28:45 PM
The store I work at moved to a new location so we were throwing out a bunch of wooden hangers. I took home about two boxes and sanded our logo off of them. I painted them and covered it with a sealant. They were a x-mas present for my mom.

I have another picture with five more but photobucket isn't cooperating today.

4  Re:tattoo shoes in Shoes: Completed Projects by scenequeenpissed on: April 05, 2004 03:32:32 PM
so i made my own tattoo shoes (sorry for the crappy pictures):

then. i ruined them. mod podge does NOT look good on shoes. if you're going to use it make sure you get it ONLY on the image and not on any other part of the shoe. brialliant me decided to try and correct this by covering the whole shoe in mod podge. now my shoes are icky and shiney and ugh.

5  the start of a not so punkrock backpack in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by scenequeenpissed on: April 03, 2004 09:16:25 PM

so rather than follow the pattern given (do it the easy way ? NEVER.) i spent hours and hours graphing out my own patterns and finally settled on this one. i'm not entirely sure i like it, but hopefully i won't give up before i finish the whole backpack because it seems like a really fun project that i could use a lot.

6  pizza box art in Completed Projects by scenequeenpissed on: March 21, 2004 05:56:30 PM
i had a few pizza boxes (the small ones that breadsticks come in) laying around and inspired by a recent trip to california pizza kitchen i decided rather than throw them out i'd make something to put on my wall.

you have to be careful to make sure they aren't gross or have any food bits left in them that could mold. i used two coats of white latex paint and then just used regular acrylic paints on top of that.

i used sticky foam stuff to put them on the wall, and i used a little piece on each box to keep the lids shut. if you had really clean pizza boxes or access to un-used ones you could paint the insides and lift t he covers every once in a while and even use them to display/hide really small things.

7  puffy sleeve shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by scenequeenpissed on: March 21, 2004 05:44:19 PM
after much frustration i finally found a pattern for a puffy sleeve shirt (at walmart no less! but seriously, $7 for a pattern ? bullcrap.) and after even more frustration finished it. in the time it took me to make it i lost the buttons i was going to sew on it's not completely finished, but anyways...

(simplicity pattern 5872. they seem to have forgotten the ohsoimportant step of sewing the sleeves together?? maybe it's just assumed, but it definately confused me for a day or two.)

speaking of magnets:
