1  CANADA / Ontario / Re: Listing of Craft Fairs in SW Ontario on: July 30, 2006 05:39:05 PM
If Toronto isn't too far for you, there's this blog: http://torontocraftalert.blogspot.com/  which lists Toronto craft happenings and often a few outside of Toronto that are usually looking for vendors.

That's all I got. Good luck! Smiley
2  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: New Poster Boy--guess who? on: June 19, 2006 05:55:45 PM
I guess Keanu Reeves from the Bill and Ted days..
3  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Skully sweater neckline help... please.. on: June 06, 2006 07:11:06 PM
On a scale of one to ten: One being not at all and ten being just burn the damn thing now.

I accidently bound off both shoulders with the three neelde bind off. I didn't read that I was only to do one until I'd bound them both off...

My question is: Am I screwed? Can I still pick up the stitches using straight needles? Or do I have to use circular needles now? Is it going to be a lot harder with circ?

Sorry for the dumb questions... this is my first sweater.

Thank you

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / The Yarn Harlot's new book? on: March 15, 2006 08:45:47 AM
Does anyone know when the Yarn Harlot's new book 'Knitting Rules' is coming out? I've been haunting www.chapters.ca for a while and it still says March 1/06 as the release date but it's not in stores yet.

Anyone know anything about it?

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Dollar Tree has Yarn on: January 27, 2006 01:13:17 PM
For the Canadians there's also a large variety of dollar yarn at Dollarama. They sell the same yarn 'Pheonix' brand at Zellers for $1.18 I think.

I've bought a few balls for cat toys and such. Pretty good worsted weight yarn for the price. It would be great for beginners.
