so....
2 new items fresh from the sewing machine!!
i wanted them both for sooooo long!
no one make skirts at that length wich is the perfect length for me (ye ye..chubby legs..) nor short sleeves jackets,
while wearing it together i look like a school girl... but the jacket is mainly for jeans and the skirt for flip-flops..
both fabrics are very expensive made out of wool, but i bought tham as leftovers (the end of the fabric roll)- you get that a lot here.. so instead of 10$ per 1 m. i got it for 3$ per m.

that jacket caused me a lot of truble.... first the collar (whice i gave up on... if anyone has a pattern for a circle neck collar i will be very greatfull!!)

now for a few pointers-
1.its not noticable here. but i switch the bottens from white (which looked very ameture) to creamy,same color as the fabric DONT MAKE MY MISTAKES!!. good move!
2.i will never improvise another collar agein in my life! ever!
3. I absolutly loooooooooooooooove those puffy sleeves!

if a tutorial is needed-ask awey!
i used a burda pattern for the jacket and changed a litle to my wanting
but i took photoes at times so no prob to post tham-just ask!

the skirt is pattern less. still need ironing and strings triming here and there...

oh and yep!i fineally got the curage- i kissed my blond (dyed...) hair bye bye!!!red rockes!


meanwhile...i made another skirt today
as you can see i like my stitches zig-zaged thank you very much
i like it less than the first one...

Hey, I am a fat girl and nor am I ashamed. However what does stink about being overweight is the lack of cool clothes. I love skirts but none of the new styles look good on me or don't come in my big and beautiful size. I was wondering if any other big girls have tried the "easy skirt" (when you just cut a hole in the fabric) and if it looks good on big girls. If I made it I'd need a lot of fabric to cover my wonderful self but I dont want to waste it if its not flattering for us big girls. So let me know, please!

ive done a circle skirt
with a very (silly me) expensive fabric...
its nice on me
but i look 10 kilos fatter in it...

here is what ive learned-
1.as much as i loove- only mat fabrics and non shining
2 . stripes on the wey down is alweys better
3. an a cut is more slimmer than this big circle whith all that extra fabric that added more everywhere

well... guess what i have?
as you may know, israeli teens must go to the army... while you are at service- you get and buy 1000 of thick gray army socks
ive finished my duty
now i have so many socks... (about 50 pairs=100 singles i pressume)
anyone has any idia what to do with tham?
