Muffins or scones are always a favorite;  There's nothing like starting your day with a nice hit of sugar!

Thank you all so much for such kind comments!  For anyone who's curious about making their own turkey but doesn't want to go hunting down the pattern burried in my blog, the direct link to the pattern is here:  http://bittersweetblog.wordpress.com/2006/11/07/gobble-gobble/

I really appreciate all of the feedback!

Hi everyone, this is my first time attempting to participate in any sort of craftster challenge, so please let me know if I'm doing something wrong!

I actually posted this original amigurumi on my blog along with a pattern a couple weeks ago, but it's still probably my favorite so far (shh, don't tell the others!)

5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: 50%+ Christmas Gift Challenge on: November 18, 2006 05:23:25 AM
Thanks for all of the suggestions every!  I think that my best chance would be a hat or scarf... But I'm not entirely sure I can picture any of them wearing one.  Blarg.  Guys are never easy to deal with!

I'm definitely in.  In fact, I'm actually going for 100% homemade, and I've been working since August already.  I have all of my family's gifts finished, so now I'm working on friend-gifts.  The hardest part has got to be figuring out what each person would like to receive!

-Any ideas for 17-20 year old guys that could be knit, crocheted, sewn... Anything?

In addition to what everyone's mentioned so far, you can really never go wrong with a good assortment of cookies - Sugar cookies, snickerdoodles, ginger snaps, etc.

Ah, you beat me to it!  I was thinking about writing an ice cream cone pattern, but I'm sure yours is better than what I would have come up with.  I'm making one of these as soon as I get half a chance!

Very nice!  I actually have a pattern for a cup of coffee similar to that on my blog.  http://bittersweetblog.wordpress.com/2006/08/26/wake-up-and-smell-the-yarn/ , if any one's curious.

Good luck on the whole crochet breakfast, it sounds like it will be awesome!

Thank you for the pattern, I want to make this ASAP!  Grin

You're very welcome!  Be sure to post pictures, I would love to see your rendition!
