1  Turkey Day Survivor in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Cocoa Kitten on: December 01, 2006 08:00:42 PM
Hi everyone, this is my first time attempting to participate in any sort of craftster challenge, so please let me know if I'm doing something wrong!

I actually posted this original amigurumi on my blog along with a pattern a couple weeks ago, but it's still probably my favorite so far (shh, don't tell the others!)

Chocolate Esspresso Devastation Cake

It's less impressive as far as decorations go compared with the others above in this thread, but it did win first place at my town's annual bake-off...  The recipe in on my blog, if anyone's interersted.  Smiley

Awesome!  Lovely color choice, and you did a great job of changing colors, especially if it was a first attempt.  I happened to pick up this project to practice the exact same thing, but it was my second try, so I have no excuse for my results!   Lips sealed

6  Knit Pizza - Now With Link to Free Pattern!! in Knitting: Completed Projects by Cocoa Kitten on: April 27, 2006 03:14:34 PM
I just wrote my very first pattern and I'd like to share it with all of you lovely knitters on craftster!  I happen to love knit food (it's so cute!) so I made up a knit slice of pizza!

You can get the pattern on my blog, here: http://bittersweetblog.wordpress.com/2006/04/27/pizza-party/

Please tell me what you think, and post pictures if you decide to try it out!

7  Re: Wee Bunny with link to pattern in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Cocoa Kitten on: April 23, 2006 03:59:44 PM
I also made a Wee Bunny a week or two ago...

I think bunnies were just meant to be pink, in general.  Maybe I'm just weird...

I finally found the book!  After reading this thread, I was dying to make some cute little knit animals of my own, so here's my first attempt.  I decided to try out the pattern for the mallard:

More pictures and a brief review of my first impressions of the book can be found at my blog.  (Come on, you know you want to check it out!)

I just finished the stuffed elephant yesterday... I don't know if it's the cutest thing I've ever made, but I guess it came out... okay.  I decided it looked better without the trunk tacked down though, so I just left it sticking straight out instead.

I just hope my friend likes it... I made it for her birthday.  Unfortunately, I got a little bit ahead of myself... because her birthday isn't for another 10 months now.   Roll Eyes
