I'll be glad to be an angel. I'd especially like to be one for redstar13 because we seem to have the same intrests. I too love the pinup stuff.

5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: THE GENERIC BOYFRIEND GIFT THREAD: A How-To! on: October 23, 2005 01:08:21 PM
i just learned a queso dip last night that seems to get all of my guyfriends very excited (they downed two huge bowls of it)

it consists of cooked ground beef, a stick of velveta, and the canned chille stuff in extrahot or mild depending on the boy. (the one with tomatos and peppers in it) guys seem to love cheese and its a great snack food. we made it for our friends last night an im making it for my boy this week.

normally i go all out with gifts. last year i decorated a box and then filled it to the brim with crafty stuff, space food, picutres, notes, confettie, etc.

all of these girls have wonderful ideas. i might make one of these for one of my friends, too.

it might be a little too raunchy but they make workout videos that are "learn to strip and get a workout at the same time" videos. i almost bought one for myself because it seemed like a fun way to work out with the girls and creates comedic relief while working out. maybe make her some things out of really deep red fabric, with lots of lace- a skirt or something, or maybe even decorate a box that you put all the stuff in with it instead. also maybe some fake diamonds. i know a store closeby to me has cute rinestone bowties and stuff.

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: question: "stockings" - recon. on: October 07, 2005 11:34:23 PM
i think its all a great idea, but be careful and DEFINATLY let the paint completely dry before taking it off whatever you're stretching it on, because after paint it wont stretch and if you paint it when it's not stretched, it wont fit anymore.

I want to take bubble gum balls and cast them in resin so that i can use them in a craft project without fearing ants. how would i go about doing this, any ideas?
