I have been so inspired by all of you ladies on here and I just have to share what I made for my daughter based on Vegbee's tut

Of course when I took the pics, I hadn't finished it, the bottom isn't hemmed...

Electronics work as bribery at our house

I lined the top with the large floral print, which I was happy with, but I mis-measured (I can't imagine why with a wiggle worm for a model??) so I made pleats on the front

And she had to "pose" of course 

She loves twirling in it, so much that it was hard to get pics   Thanks for all the inspiration and for inspiring me to save up for a better sewing machine (hoping Santa might bring me one this year!)

Being lazy, like I am, I did not make the patchwork, but they are just about as cute, if I do say so myself.

All in all, each only took about 1 hour to make (probably would've been less but my 3 year old monkey, I mean child, was running about and sitting on my lap most of the time!)

This one is made from some leftover large napkins I had found on clearance last year.  I love the fruit!


This one I gave to a friend who just just found out she got her first job teaching after finishing college!  Yeah for teachers

Two girls my mom works with have requested I make them one each and some of the teachers from my friend's new school are thinking about ordering as well!  They are so awesomely easy and people really think they are cute!  I've been doing my happy dance since I started making them

I have seen these posted on several scrapbooking sites and got inspired for father's day.  

I of course, did not finish it until today, but he loved it anyhow
I used my craftrobo to cut it out and am pretty happy with the results.

I've been inspired by fellow Foster's fans on here to make a felt applique of Eduardo and put it on a onsie for my daughter.  I think I'll be saving it for her birthday in a few months, hopefully she'll grow into it a bit more the thing is huge!

I'm still pretty much a newbie but I was inspired by several posts, including the jordy and another that had a photo printed on fabric (can't find it now for the life of me).  The two came together as gifts for my husband's co-workers. (also had to make one for my mom with my daughter on it, but I can't find the pics right now)  Sorry about the black bars, but since they aren't my kiddos, felt kinda funny posting them on the web, so they are incognito





hope I posted these pics right!  I would really appreciate any feedback.  I included a tag that says "My Why" on it and a poem on the tag that goes as follows:

Cheesey yes, but I think they liked it.  My mom ate it up, she loves anything with her grandbaby on it

Two girlfriends have "ordered" bags for family members.  I'm not sure what to charge?  Materials cost me about $15 roughly.  Do you think it would be worth pursuing selling these and other similarly personalized items? My hubby already has a website set up, but I'm not sure if it's going to be worth it.
