I'll claim EdelC for some fat quarters

This is my first claim, none sent, none received.

I'm a 38 yo tattoo artist with 4 kids living in Ontario, Canada trying to fit my art-making in between dinners, naps, university and playdates....my favorite colours are black, red, purple, cobalt.  I really dislike pastels.  I adore skulls, greenmen, cool stripey-legged dolls, medieval stuph, and general goth-y goodness.  I love ephemera, embellishing, and anything old and crusty....yum!!! But duct-tape and I are in a "business, not for pleasure" relationship...I use too much of it around the house to fix stuff
Here is my list:

Something inspired by my wists (www.wists.com/bhean)

16  CLOTHING / Costumes: Discussion and Questions / Re-drafting Princess Line into Cotehardie on: February 28, 2009 06:33:45 PM
OK, I am making a cotehardie and I've outgrown (and lost) the pattern I had.  So, I've got a basic princess-line pattern which I want to tweak.  I've figured out how to change the sleeves, but I  know that the princess seams that start at arm scye are not period.  How do I shift them?  Are princess seams that start at the shoulder more period?  I am pretty busty, so I need all the fabric I can get Wink

Thank you, Pinupmommy!

I got some (2 giant skeins!) of Faren's beautiful yarn, lucky me!  But I am having a hard time getting the photos to upload, so I'm going post them on my blog www.scarybaby.blogs pot.com so people can get a look.  Then when I get the photo hosting to co-operate, I'll post the pics here.

Thank you so much, Faren!!!!  And if you can get pics up, the sooner the better so everyonw can see your fantastic work!

I've finally got some time to post the FANTASTIC placemats that I received from stitch81

Here are all THIRTEEN of them (I've got a big family)

And I love the pretty fabric that she used for the detail - nice and swirly, my fave!

The backs are a lovely burgundy in case I need a change (how did she know that blue and burgundy is one of my fave colour combos for home dec???)

Thank you so much!!! They made the holidays so much nicer!
