Happy Fiber Friday everybody!
I just got the news that my application was accepted and I'll be at my first ever craft show in June 2009! So excited, so much to plan and spin.  Cheesy
And spinning I did, I've done a lot of plying lately.

Murano - 123 yards handdyed Falkland wool


Belle - 123 yards handdyed Falkland wool


Belle II (slightly darker) - 97 yards handdyed Falkland wool


Guess - 292 yards handdyed Falkland wool


Berry Cheesecake - 257 yards (2 skeins) handdyed Falkand wool


Enchanted - 228 yards (2skeins), one ply is a Merino, bamboo, soysilk blend the other Falkland wool, all handdyed


and a few singles for a change
Tranquil - 237 yards (2 skeins) handdyed Falkland wool


Chaos - 168 yards, handcarded handdyed Romney and Cotswold wool, natural brown Romney lambs wool, silk, linen, suri alpaca and sparkle all striped with Lurex thread


Perhaps - 89 yards, handcarded Falkland, Gotland lamb, Cotswold lamb and Merino wool and a bit of sparkle.

Wow katem, you made preogress fast! The throw looks really nice so far.
So many great yarns this week! Especially Space nectar, Kermit and the 2nd All Spun up (pmpknpunk).

Fiesta - 105 yards, Merino, Kid Mohair, Viscose and sparkle


Blackberry Cream - 211 yards (2 skeins), Falkland wool and Viscose


Beach - 75 yards, Falkland wool


Chaos - 293 yards, Romney and Cotswold wool, Romney lambs wool, silk, linen, suri alpaca and sparkle.


Fantasia - 423 yards, Falkland wool


Playful - 296 yards (2 skeins), Falkland wool


Sally - 159 yards, Falkland wool


Leprechaun - 161 yards, Corriedale wool, Alpaca


Heather - 130 yards, Falkland wool


Fleur - 87 yards, Falkland wool

I like the subtle colour variation in the plied yarns you all went for this week.
Like Jane Doe's last one, krafty_kelly's and kathleenalice's first.
I have 3 this week (still need to take photos of the rest)

Embers - 48 yards, Romney lamb and Border Leicester wool spun straight from the lock and wrapped in black lurex thread


Goblin - 241 yards, handdyed Falkland wool


Au Natural - 95 yards, corespun suri alpaca

Peacock - 128 yards, Merino wool, superfine Alpaca, golden sparkle and handdyed Cotswold locks.


Garden Party - 202 yards (I spun 2 skeins), handdyed Falkland wool, Cotswold lamb locks and handfelted beads.


Jewel -  80 yards, handdyed Mohair locks, corespun straight from the lock


Au Natural - 95 yards, natural white suri alpaca, corespun straight from the lock


Feather - 92 yards, suri alpaca (handdyed and natural colours), spun straight from the lock then plied with thread and little glassbeads


Lyric - 72 yards, handdyed Falkland wool

Illusion - 211 yards - handdyed Falkland wool plied with novelty thread and glassbeads


Pippy - 350 yards, self-striping, handdyed Falkland, Merino and Corriedale wool.


80's - 278 yards, self-striping, handdyed Falkland wool,


Goblin - 100 yards, handdyed Falkland wool and handfelted Merino beads

Sunset Lagoon is great! And Jazzturtle's corespun Roses and Autumn coils are amazing! Love the beginning of the silk crochet scarf too.
And luxx - yes, Jazzturtle's Waterlillies yarn is spun from the Monet batts.

I have been spinning lots last week.

Valentine - 82 yards, corspun Kid Mohair and suri Alpaca


Cafe au lait - 99 yards, Alpaca,  Merino & Shetland wool, baby Llama fiber and Tussah silk. (all natural colours)


Pixie - 195 yards , handprocessed Shetlandwool from a local farm, spun first then dyed


Erin - 194 yards, Shetland, Corriedale, Texel and Cotswold wool, suri alpaca and golden sparkle


Chill - 87 yards, Falklandwool & Viscose


Blackberry Cream - 77 yards, Falklandwool & Viscose


Pure - 117 yards, Baby Llama, Falkland wool, Kid Mohair, Tencel and sparkle. With beads, sequins and lace bits spun it.


Tempting - 85 yards, Merino wool, sparkle and handfelted beads


Pumpkin Pie - 59 yards, this is the golden version. Romney & Merino wool, Viscose, golden sparkle and sequins plied it with a golden thread and glassbeads.

Pmpknpunk So many great yarns! Cool to see the Beach batts spun up ;-)
I also really like #4 the black orchid 2 ply. And #8 is amazing, both in yarn and batt form.

Ive spun up the Moonlight batts from last Friday.
69 yards of Merino wool, british Texel wool, Alpaca, Viscose, sequins and 2 different types of silver sparkle (firestar and lurex, hard to capture in the photos) plied with nylon thread and little glassbeads.


Apple picking - 342 yards of Romney and Merino cross wool spun straight from the lock (no combing or carding) to keep some of the great texture.


Pumpkin Pie - 56 yards, Romney & Merino wool and Viscose plied with a matching novelty thread and glassbeads.


Halloween - 87 yards, handdyed cotswold lamb wool, corespun straight from the lock


Coastal - 124 yards, handdyed Romney wool & Cotswold locks spun straight from the lock, then plied with a strong nylon thread and little shells

Wow, it feels like its been ages since I last posted here on Fiber Friday. Have to get back in the swing of it.
Great yarn everybody! My favourites so far are Autumn leaves, Autumn sunset and Selkie.

I haven't posted here for a while myself. I recently moved house and just got internet at home set up again. So I'm slowly getting back into the online world.
I was on holiday last week and got quite a bit of spinning done  Cheesy

First up is Paintball - Falklandwool, Merinowool, cashmere and golden sparkle carded together with felted beads spun right in


Bloomer - Merino and Falklandwool, Wensleydale locks and handfelted flowers and beads


Whirlwind - handcarded Merino wool, camel, sparkle and felted beads


And Wildflowers - handdyed Falklandwool spun with lots of coils throughout
