For a Secret Santa gift I am making a bucket with this persons favorite beer, a mug, a bottle opener and some miscellaneous nuts, beef jerky, etc... I want to put fake, but realistic looking ice in the bucket. Does anyone have any idea for making some inexpensively & quickly? The party is this weekend and of course I am well over my $20 limit already, lol! Please help me out!
I have been searching high and low for a crochet kitty ear hat pattern and I can only find cute knit ones. I dont want one with lots of holes or one of the realistic looking ones, what I really want is one like this-
I have read all of the stencil tutorials and I have the basic idea wash, stencil, etc. But I'm a little fuzzy on what I should do after the paint is on the shirt, all the advice seems to be different so I am looking for opinions. How long should I wait before I remove the stencil? Before I heat set it? The best way to heat set it? And lastly, is it OK to wash and dry the shirt in the washing machine/dryer? Will the stencil crack? Any advice is appreciated!
My little cousins birthday is coming up and he really, really wants a red and black checkered tie. The only ones I can find are like $30, I love him but I'm I little broke these days! Any Ideas on how to make one or where I could buy an inexpensive one? I thought of sewing one but then remembered I don't know how to sew a tie, and I'm not sure I would be able to find the right fabric, I thought about buying a plain black tie and somehow checkering it myself, but I want it to look nice and as close to store bought as possible. Any Suggestions?
