1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Necktie Zippered Pouch on: September 28, 2005 01:40:29 PM
Hi all!
I got interested in using neckties for different things when I first heard of using them to make a purse a few months ago. Which is how I happened across this site! Loving it!!! Roll Eyes Since then, I have found my Atlantis of neckties at my local Goodwill Bins. (They sell clothing by the pound!!OMG!!!) I have also made a purse using a tutorial from this site and am well pleased with the results. However, I was fiddling around with the left overs from said purse when while making my neck tie cuff from one of them it dawned on me: necktie zippered pouch. I have a TON of zippers from gathering notions from yes, the Goodwill Bins and assorted other thrift shops.
Here is the end results of that dawning-idea.

It was inspired by yet another tutorial on here.

The inside.

I lined the inside simply because I feel it gives it a more finished look, as well as making it more durable with stuff shoved inside of it.
Hope you like it!

I hope the picture shows up. This is my first "picture" posting. Yea! it worked. (The first picture is apparently "clickable" so you can enlarge it.)
