Sign me up for handspun! Cheesy

I think an early sendout date would be good. I'm planning on leaving town on June 7 for my camp counselor duties, but I can always send early (like the day before, which is my birthday).

Lovely idea. I've been meaning to get my freeform on and knit something like a Monk's Travel Satchel (from Square's Folk Bags) freeform style. I'm sure I could rassle my stash into small balls submission.

I like both ideas, too.

Too bad I'd be out of town for three of the dates you're proposing for sendouts ... unless I could get an advance list to work with. Cheesy Round 2, round 2. That'll be my mantra!

Gorgeous!  I thought of butterfly wings when I first saw it.

I thought of faerie wings, myself. What a gorgeous piece of work!

I had some closer ones of me trying to model it, but they were awful. The kind of awful that you only show people when you're a little inebriated (which I wasn't).

It's a nice, thick one, so I think it will be perfect when cooler weather arrives. It's a perfect blue for Ravenclaw, too.

I'm back at work today, so here are pictures of what mint sent me!

I got home yesterday to find a package from mint waiting for me!

I took pictures, but I don't have my camera cord handy, or more batteries for the camera itself. Those will have to wait until Monday when I'm back at work with my, er, the office card reader.

The spoils! Look at all this awesome swag!

The piggy bank, metallic Sculpey, and awesome flowery drawstring pouch.

The beautiful buttons for my calorimetry (pictured in the top picture, lower right).

Radish detail, from the back of the totes.

And finally ...

Thanks again, mint! You rock!

I'm a camp counselor for the middle two weeks in June, so I might have to catch round 2 if that will be the case.

You do realize I'm going to spend all day at work thinking about this swap, don't you? ;-)

I'd really like to try my hand at this, if y'all would let me play! I don't currently do a ton of altering, though I have been getting ATC happy lately. To have the opportunity to make altered pages to send out sounds like a nice way to start.

I think I'd be down with having different sizes, that way if someone wasn't able to bind their own book for some reason could do the tip-in method or something like that for a pre-bought journal.

Well done! I think my mom would enjoy something like that. A very inspired piece!
