1  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Comissioned Igloo on: December 07, 2006 12:43:32 AM
A friend of mine was looking for something suitable to put in her cats display pen for a cat show and asked me to make a comissioned piece for her. After some discussion we figured out what she wanted and I ordered fabric and set to work.

It took me way too long to make, with many many changes a long the way, but I'm really please with the end product. More importantly, my friend was pleased with it and her cats love it.

Bad picture I'm afraid but it's done nothing but rain for weeks and the light is miserable. It does shimmer in the light though:)

2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / First Attempt on: October 07, 2005 02:50:49 AM
Heres my first attempt at making a mobile. The pictures aren't great because I had to hold it at arms length and still try to focus.

I used felt for the birds with colored feathers for the tails. A couple of pieces of dowling and pink string to make the mobile itself. There are also pink flower beads to hold the dowl in place.

4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Bright Booties on: September 17, 2005 02:33:55 AM
I have a friend who is having a baby soon and wanted to make a special gift for the new arrival. Still not sure if she's having a boy or a girl so I used bright colors instead and made a pair of booties. It was my first attempt and I'm not totally happy with them so I will make a new pair in the right color when the bump is born:)
