4  Tiger Cozie in Crochet: Completed Projects by puttenkat on: March 01, 2006 01:32:24 PM
i took some time away from crocheting cause my wrist was bothering me but a co-worker gave me money to make him a tiger shaped cozie for his camera and i felt bad for not having anything to give him yet.  So here it is finallly finished:

having troubles getting the picture to show.  here's a link instead:

the writing in the tummy is suposed to be arabic for tiger.  i don't really know how to cross stitch so i kinda just flubbed it but apparently it turned out okay, my friend really likes it.

5  The Cheat( cozie style) in Crochet: Completed Projects by puttenkat on: November 14, 2005 02:46:43 PM

My latest cell phone cozie.  I made him with Red Heart Kids worsted weight.  I made the body first by making 18 rows of 12 sc's across.  then i sc in the back loops to make the bottom, i did three more rows then sc in the back loops again( i think, it might have been the front loops).  Doing it this way meant i didn't have to make the front and back and bottom seperately and they are defined.  I made the sides by making 18 rows of 4 sc's across.  The face is hard to explain how i made cause i kinda just played around till it looked right but basically i add two extra stitches in the first row then slowly decreased till i got two the point where there were only 8 sc left.

I made the feet and arms seperately and then attched them to the sides.  i did all the spots by pseudo cross-stiching with black yarn.

I love the Kids yarn colours that Red Heart makes, they're awesome for cartoon character's

7  Re: skull and crossbone beanie in Crochet: Completed Projects by puttenkat on: November 11, 2005 06:20:46 PM
so here's a pic of the one i made.  I decided not to put in the crossbones and i kinda screwed up the skull a bit but you probably can't notice it, somehow i added an extra stich to the face so it screwed up the pattern for the bottom jaw part

I also did the whole thig in double crochet so i had adjust things a little.  Thanks so much for posting the chart, i would have had a really hard time trying to make this hat if i didn't have it, iwas starting to worry cause i'd already promised someone i'd make them this
