i dont like the idea of draping over it, it will still read as a hole. it doesnt need 'ventilation' but you arent going to tightly seal it anyhow. as long as you can get to it quickly.

i like the idea od hanging a picture in front of it. then it makes for a nice hiding spot.

you could also put a door on it, complete with doorknob and hinges and knocker. a nice susiciously small and mysterious door in your wall of your room might be fun.

It could also be a diarama!
