hey there...I didnt actually follow a pattern that religously...i did use anapaulaoli's "anatolia" pattern just for basic body proportions though...you can check her out on Etsy: www.anapaulaoli.etsy.com

Did you crochet yours into your Amigurumi?

yeah i just crocheted a round of the fuzzy yarns around the head, legs, arms...im not really a hand-sewer  Smiley

What brand white yarn did you use for the fur look and how did you go about affixing it to your happy little Inuit?  Did you crochet it in, or stitch it?  It looks so good!

I used 2 strands of yarn: one was a lion's brand fuzzy novelty yarn and the other i already forgot...but i bought both at Joann's

So I've kind of neglected my crocheting since I've been busy sewing, but here's my latest hookin project:

Eskimo (Inuit) Doll....




For the background I used a couple of yards of knit fabric...will definately be used to make a top of some sort soon

***now back to the sewing machine...***

Yes the pattern is from my own creation.
And the hats do come off....they look really funny without them tho (i didnt emboirder hair all the way around!  Smiley
