My name is Olivia. I'm married, and I loved it! I'm 22, and my husband is 33. He is an independant horror journalist, and works in television operations for HGTV, Food, DIY, and Fine Living. I'm a housewife. I have a stepdaughter named Mattie. She is a cool kid.

I have two kitties named Rocko and Butters. They are the true loves of my life.

I guess my favorite crafting is Batik, but I will try my hand at anything. I would LOVE to learn how to knit, and I think I'm going to take that on next. I'm learning to sew, and have had some success at it so far, and that is keeping me motivated. I'd love to start sewing for my  little stepdaugher. Funny thing, my stepmother sewed for me, so it can be a stepmother/stepdaughter thing 

Oh, I collect ANYTHING with pumpkins.

ok, now I have a question. When I was in school, I penpalled with a few people, and we made friendship books. They were little booklets made with construction paper, and everyone would decorate their page w/ their email, mailing addy, and intrests. So like, I would out my info on one page, mail it to you and you would do the same, then you would mail it to a friend, and so on and so forth, until it was full. THen it was mailed back to the person who started it. Did you all ever do this? It was great fun!

OH what a great swap!!! Too bad I can't participate, as I have not been here for a month. How sad...I'm like all about some horror and gore   

Well, the theme in our home is Halloween/horror(what can I say, we met because my husband has a hearse). I had an old table that I almost threw out, but when I found these vintage-looking treat bags I was sooo glad I didn't !

I cut the treat bags apart (the backs didn't have images) and used craft glue. I put a few coats on top after they were all in place.


The table was yellow before I started, so I got lucky there, because the colors "worked" together. This is actually a project I did before I found craftster (and I am sooo glad I found craftster  )

This is sooooo pretty!!!! Woe is me, I live in an apartment and can't paint the walls. ho hum.

This really isn't a failed project, but I just discovered that one of my cats made peepee in my fabric tub!!! Man!


Time to fire up the washing machine. ugh.. .

Thing is, for me and my family, we are not religious at all, and when we get a card from a friend of a diffrent (or well any) faith, I just feel nice that one of my friends took the time to write me a card, and put it in the mail! That goes double if he/she took the time to make it him/herself!
