My husband and I bought a little basket of fried veggies at a festival about five years ago. I'm a sucker for fair food as it is, but these were AMAZING. It was a big piece of broccoli, cauliflower, a wedge of green tomato ( I think) a pickle (which was the only thing my husband liked) a huge mushroom and an onion ring. No fair food has lived up to it since then. Does anyone have a recipe for the batter they use to fry all those fair goodies?
