321  Re: Deuces Wild Flower Pin Swap Numero Dos Pics in The Swap Gallery by craftydame on: January 26, 2005 06:29:28 PM
Thank you SO MUCH to vonneguttermouth and crafty_dame!!  I ended up with a no-show partner, and I never got any pins, so crafty_dame sent me 2!  So very thoughtful, I really appreciate it  Smiley

I love them both -- thank you!

Melinda

you're so welcome! i'm so glad you like them! i can't believe how different the colours are, except the blue rhinestones, they're exactly the same! how odd!

however, i'm extremely obsessive about my digital camera, so i took pictures too. this is a lot closer.

as promised, here are pictures of what i sent to skyra.sorry it's two pics, it photographed better that way.(and yes, i'm anal about laying it all out pretty!)

and here's what i got! there's so much great stuff in here. you can't see the trims all that well, just around the edges, but they were there too. so much fun stuff! cool stickers, a few lollipops, the aforementioned yarn bits (i love the rainbow!), really beautiful cotton thread stuff in shades of red, the aforementioned rickrack and skull beads, bells, sequins (always good!), mini clothespins, these neat little brass circle things (what are they called?), a ton of buttons (including one yellow ceramic star, that i LOVE), a neat leaf thing, just sooo soo much stuff. it's all so awesome.

i think we should continue this gallery after everyone's posted their stuff, and use it to show things we make using it! littleone said she'd already started using stuff, i wanna see!

Not entirely anatomically correct Smiley

this is the first one I ever made, I actually forgot to put in the urethra!!! since then, my boyfriend's received a matching set, I've got one in my dorm room [blue/brown], and I've got a pink/brown set at my house that I've been meaning to sell.

they're fairly easy to make, the time consuming part is stuffing the thing! [yes, I know, "I need to go stuff my vagina." laugh it up, because I do!]

oh, that's awesome! it's so gorgeous!

I would've loved to see those Magnets!

this isn't actually one that i did, i'm not quite that skilled with fimo. my best friend did this one. i used to have more, but they've gradually been broken falling off the fridge. (the colour's a little off, but you get the idea) mine were actually anatomically correct, if a little cartoony, but she just made hers look pretty. it's got some extras.

here are the flowers that i sent to vaguelyvogue. i was kinda late sending them out, and i felt guilty, so i made more than one. plus, i wanted to try the techniques for the daisy and the yarn loom flower. i'm most proud of the daisy i think.

**edited multiple times to post the pictures right. but i finally got it!**
