1241  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Multistrand Uzumaki on: February 05, 2006 10:38:42 PM
This is my first ever real completed piece of jewelry!  I got the idea from the DIY Jewelry Making show on the DIY network. Its just a whole bunch of different things; chain, 2 sizes/colors glass pearls, 3 types of ribbon, and 2 colors suede wrapped together and attached to a multistrand clasp. The pendent I got at a bartar fair. Dont let the second pic mislead you, as far as size Id guess its about 2 in X 2 in.  The picture really doesnt do it justice as it has lines of pink and green in it.

You can get the instructions for the necklace here http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/cr_jewelry/article/0,2025,DIY_13762_4006378,00.html

Grrr I posted pretty much this same question and didnt get very many responses. I made a coffee table with Weekly World News Clippings using modpodge.  If things rest on it too long they get slightly stuck and any cups leave a white glue ring that disapears when it dries.  Im thinking of just using a varnish? Any success with that stuff? I also make paper mosaic pots that get *really* wet from time to time....still varnish?

Here are the 2 awesome bags and all the goodies I got yesterday from KungPow!

I told KP I wanted something bright and annoying and boy did she deliver. Its everything I could have wanted, bright, fuzzy, sparkley, beady.

Small felted bag. Sorry for the fuzzy pics. I think I might put my cell in this one.

And lastly all the stuff that was crammed inside
floss, all kinds of nifty random buttons *love the hands*, scrapbooking kit, M post its, Canadian stickers, a crafting award *awww*, and a keychain from Vacouver that isnt in the pic because I put it on my keychain as soon as I got it. Thank you so much! I hope you get yours soon!
