We're back, and what a fun time we had!
Portia got the window seat flying into Dubrovnik, Croatia.
If there are any GOT fans, you might recognize Dubrovnik and King's Landing
We also spent the day at one of the many little islands spotting the coast, Lokrum island where Portia got to meet a peacock.
From there we made out way to Split and explored some of Diocletian's palace. He has a collection of Egyptian sphinxes!
We didn't linger too long in Split because our main Croatian destination was Plitvice national park! There was loads of hiking and spectacular views.
Zagreb was quite rainy and Portia forgot her umbrella at home...soooo no pictures there. But it was beautiful in Budapest so we all decided to hit up the baths! You might notice Portia is a little heavier too, that's because we literally ate cake everyday
Budapest has a zoo as well which we got to visit.
Vienna was only a train ride away so why not go? There were plenty of museums to choose from and decided on two. The Kunsthistorisches museum and the Leopold. The first showcased some Habsburgs' treasures while the other had art from both Klimt and Egon Schiele.
After a full 24hrs of traveling, we all took a rest in Seattle and made sure to introduce Portia to the troll. Some guy photobombed the picture and the zoom on his face is quite funny
Our 4th consisted of lots of sleep so not much happened. But today we're off to the coast!
