11  Re: The Pink Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Clarity on: July 18, 2006 01:10:57 PM

Lin saw I admired her yarn flowers so she offered to send me one as a thank you gift for organising. I was so touched to find 2 beautiful flowers in exactly the size I like and lovely colours. She sent me some delicious sweets (can't show all of them...chew..chew:) which remind me of my grandmother's cakes) and she made me a felt birthday cake..awww - I now think felt cakes are cute. I also got a lovely card which we were wowing over. Such a sweet birthday gift from a great girl. Thanks Lin!

Close-up gorgeous

by the way, Nushy introduced me to photobucket a while ago but I've only just gotten round to using it: here is the tin she made, it was very sweet and that moon thing is a lavendar scented pillow:

My partner received so I can now post pictures of the items. She likes 50's style and animal prints so I dyed some pinks and made a matching stretchy top and skirt:

and the yarn cubby, because she likes to knit and had it in her wists so I went for a funky beach shack look. There was also a small pink box of home-made chocolate hearts and some extra pink fabric which I didn't photograph:

The bracelet is made up of different pink and clear glass beads of different sizes and shapes.

It is so very pretty, accomplished effort and result on everything. My fave has to be that special bracelet. I'ld wear that during summer with pink items to match

I got my stuff from Kristen81 last night. All of it is absolutely wonderful! Cheesy

That bag is so pretty and stencil works well with it. Kitten81, can you please post a tutorial on that?

The rest of the items on this swap are very creative, your partners must be so pleased
