My own copy of Tiffany's! and it is so pretty matched beautifuly by yes:

This is so well made, down to the vinyl? eyelashes and I slipped it on then slipped into bed and couldn't help giggling, it is so out there and good for putting a smile on your face while sleeping.

A really cute keepsake box of:

This looks so good and even has a smart bookmark coming out of it, in case you can't tell it is Paul Varjak's promising "Nine Lives"! she even added the Penguin logo! My sister thought it was a real book!

An adorable and really touching (she researched Smiley ) addition of 2 chokers & earrings which I adore and I am wearing the pearl choker right now.

So this is what the very talented Vedrana came up with, it is beaded loveliness and I am pleased...

The action shot of the cuff! which fits just as snugly:

And last but not least, THE action shot (I too am not wearing make-up!):

It feels dramatic to wear yet it's tasteful and classic, just what I wanted, thank you partner!

WHAT A GALLERY!

The choker is here to be celebrated, adorned and enjoyed. The necklace has hugged the limelight for far too long, because it is ...far, far too long. The choker is here to look beautiful AND keep our necks warm. Craftsters, your choker needs you, bring out your skills and display them on the necks of your partners. Let us make the world a more beautiful place, one neck at a time ....

The rules are one large item being the choker with the option to make a small item only if you have time. You have a month to make it special. Please remember to photograph your choker - action shots are fine even on a mannequin.

You must post in this thread so we can communicate with you easily.
Always get a DC number (US only) when posting, other countries - please keep a receipt of postage.
You must send on time and pm me with the DC number, OR communicate if you will be late. Also I need to know when you have shipped.
Last but not least...no flaking. Do a good job for your partner.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

4  Taj Mahal Snow Globe with video in Completed Projects by Clarity on: December 06, 2006 05:48:15 PM
Hi,

This is my Taj Mahal snow globe completed for my partner's India theme in the Altoid Tin Swap - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=129115.180

I've been asked to post some extra info on it so I started this thread
The recon altoid tin (video on last img so give it a minute to load):

I made the inside by scanning an old vintage image, resized, tinted it, waterproofed it then superglued it.

The snow and glitter combo were tested in the jar first, less is more when it comes to this e.g. 1 teaspoon. Finally, I superglued the jar to the tin, then decorated in the style of the content. Hope you like...

5  Re: the new trend: ribbon covered bangles...TUTORIAL!! img obese. in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Clarity on: December 06, 2006 03:33:06 PM

Thanks for the cool tute.

I had to go with a variation as I wanted to make them adjustable so here goes

I used fabric as the main padding and covered them in Indian style material for the Altoid tin theme swap
(my partner's theme is "India")

7  Re: How's Your etsy Shop Doing? in Selling Crafts on Etsy.com by Clarity on: August 04, 2006 08:48:50 AM
lol fearless,
if you don't want to go, don't go Smiley I ducked out of a wedding reception by attending the vows bit then said "sorry I've got to go", most brides are understanding as they have bigger concerns.

OK girls, I was worried to post this but am going to, in prep for my etsy introduction, one of my "few" jewellery items in a mostly art store may contain my tassel earrings refr. Breakfast at Tiffanys/cartoons, comments welcome please cottonwool any arrows Smiley I really need your etsy - expertise

8  Breakfast at Tiffanys - Tassels: my first earrings in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Clarity on: August 04, 2006 08:35:15 AM
I made my first pair of earrings as a swap angel for the Pink Swap http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=94074.0

They're similar to those tassels Audrey H. wears in Breakfast at Tiffany's and those sported by some Manga characters.

I decided to add a fabric hoop as a change. A girl asked me to make a similar pair for her so I need feedback on what you think. Good, bad, so so? They're my first so criticisms are more than welcome

My earrings:

Tiffany's (with beads) :

9  Re: Altoid tin theme swap Round 2 Gallery. in The Swap Gallery by Clarity on: August 03, 2006 06:02:09 PM

J is being too kind and she made me a new avatar as a gift. Well here goes. The inside of her Cherry Blossom tin:

"Faith, Hope and Love" = the Chinese Characters. Also There are cherry blossom wood pendants and cards

The Oriental blossom tree with birds painted cover

The Upper tin section contained another pendant of blossoms and a ring I made from her wists. Also there's the painted choker below, the reverse is a "treated" Kandinsky

here's my lovely tin
My themes were Chanel style, 60's chic and practical... Gorgeous

my gifts included a beautiful bracelet and blue brooch, lovely 50's notecards, a pink Sharpie (not available in UK) and a digital keychain watch

inside the tin, which is practical for my handbag, it also has sweet pearls dangling from the corners

The cover which is exactly what I like. You have to hold it to appreciate
