i don't have a pattern for yokes so i just winged it and made my own but it is really easy to snag extra material into the seam when you're doing it, especially when you're using an overlocker. it can be a bit fiddly. but i have learnt my lesson now!

i'm selling them at a little shop called mnini on the ground floor of kingly court on carnaby st. before that i went down to the laden showroom to see about selling them there but their rent and commission is totally extortionate and not really worth it for me...i love that shop though!

oh wow thank you so much guys! everyone makes such cool stuff on here i wasn't sure if anyone would like this! the photos have made the colours go all funny - the first top is a sort of peach colour and the other one is a sort of petrol blue, the colours look better in real life. darn phone camera...

i haven't seen the antifactory website before but you're right, they're quite similar.

i did use a pattern but i drafted it myself. i used a top that i have that i like the shape of to get the basic shape.

ooooh thank you again, i'm all happy now!  Grin

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Wine and Needles Cabled Wristwarmers on: January 28, 2006 12:59:23 PM
these are so great, and so easy! I only just learnt how to knit, but the instructions are really clear, and I've just finished my first pair! Also, I don't have a cable needle, but I used a bent paper clip and that worked just as well.
