hitbyabus, your two-tone is cool and laneknees, i love your color!
i ended up buying debbie bliss wool/cotton in a putty color.  i really like the color and i think it will show off the pattern nicely.  i am worried that the yarn will be a little warm for summer, but i do live in maine and our evenings cool down quite a bit so it may turn out to be an evening top, and if all else fails i can wear it as a layer this fall.
here's my yarn:

2  leaf-t (pattern by kitschy-kitchen) in Knitting: Completed Projects by Chihiro on: June 22, 2006 05:45:52 PM
so i finished this a couple of weeks ago, but because i've been moving and changing jobs and what not, i didn't post it.  Anyway, i absolutely loved this t-shirt when i saw kitschy kitchen's original post...which by the way, seems to have gone missing, and i was thrilled when she posted her pattern.  the pattern can be found on her blog http://www.knittingschooldropout.blogspot.com

so, my gauge was off and it's a bit big, but short, because i ran out of yarn, but i am happy with it anyway, and it looks nice on.  i'll probably make another and make sure my gauge is right.  i used classic elite "premiere" in tidal wave.

many thanks for this great pattern!

Yay, Orangina!  Everyone's look beautiful!  I am using Stork in what I like to call Carnation Pink.  I choose to make a small because I really like the cap sleeve look that Stefanie's has on her site, so I figured making it a little big would accomplish that.  I am also planning on going to a size one needle for the ribbing (i'm using three's for the main part) as I want it to be fitted around the bottom.  Have fun!  Here's my progress so far:
