1  Moby Dick in Needlework: Completed Projects by Needlebug on: November 15, 2006 03:09:17 PM
Here is a recent project...MOBY DICK.  I didn't want to satin stitch the whole whale white, so he isn't really the great white whale.  But he is certainly a great whale.  I think I might add a little, mean, red eye, but I think I will wear it until I get to it.  Maybe I will try to post a better picture of it later.  But, for now, here it is....

2  Natalie and the big-a crab-a in Needlework: Completed Projects by Needlebug on: September 04, 2005 10:08:08 AM
This is my first embroidery project!  I am so proud of it...I designed it myself.  It was a going away gift for my good friend.  We live in South Korea together.  The first time she tried to find my apartment, which is next to a king crab restaurant, she got lost and resorted asking people "oh dee (Korean for 'where') big-a crab-a."  This is how I will always remember her  Grin She is heading to Thailand for a month, so I made her a beach bag.  I did the whole thing by hand because I have no machine here.  She loved it!
