21  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / My first Animated Image on: May 12, 2007 10:11:19 AM
Here is my first animated image. I did it for a contest I ran. The whole contest was about designing and naming a baby cupcake for my two cupcake characters Stud Muffin and Cutie Pie. The winner is revealed in this animation and is named Baby Sugar Sugar as well an a Cat-Cake named Biscuits.

What do you think? ^_^
I don't really do animation but I wish I had done more with it. Like have the characters blink.

(I hope the image doesn't get distorted too much)

EDIT: It's a little fuzzy/noisy so here is a photobucket link if you want to see it full-size: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/xxiampoisonxx/winner.gif

23  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / 3 2 1 Dr. Tran on: February 09, 2007 07:49:04 PM
Okay, so I am a big geek and I love Lone Sausage productions Dr. Tran. (Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6SeI10BnaQ )
WARNING: Video uses about 8 naughty words

But I just HAD to make a little Dr. Tran of my very own. And I did with Polymer Clay. I even made interchangeable heads so he could have different expressions.

On to the picture:

24  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Be My Fruity Valentine on: February 09, 2007 07:39:14 PM
I wasn't sure where to put this. Since I made these designs to become cards but right now they are an image. So i guess it's art? If not I'll try and get the thread moved to the correct place.

But here I have my Fruity Valentines.
Kinda dorky and cute. I love them and I am really happy how they turned out.
I made this in Photoshop CS 2

25  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Ceramics Class Items on: January 08, 2007 03:14:44 PM
All of these were made in my Ceramics class this winter. Which was actually a very difficult class, but a lot of fun.

These are in order of the first pieces to more recent so you can all see how I've improved

None of these are fired yet.

I also made the white clay figure but wasn't fond of it so I am reusing that clay tomorrow when the nude model returns.
What do you think? I am actually the only Art major in the class. ^_^
26  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Brain Slugs (as seen in Futurama) on: January 01, 2007 04:49:31 PM
Hi everyone. Long time no post. ^_^

If you are a fan of futurama you'll know what these are. They are Brain slugs! The cutest, cuddliest, little mind sucking entitiy ever. I am a huge fan of the show so I decided to make one. Then I kinda made up the pink female one. You never really find out if all brain slugs look alike so I just winged it. I really like how they turned out. In the second picture I edited their eyes to look at eachother. Because in real life I made them both look forward.

Hope you like them.

Hi everyone! I missed this place and you guys. With college cramping my polymer clay style I haven't really had the chance to update so here are two tutorials I made for everyone. ^_^

Have any questions feel free to ask for clarity. The Candy Apple one was kinda rushed.
28  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Teeny Tiny Digital Cameras on: October 27, 2006 01:04:53 PM
My photography professor always asks me to give him some of the tiny things I make. I always tell him the stuff I make is too girly. So I made him two tiny cameras (the silver one and the black one with the white lens). I liked the little black camera so much I made two more of them.

I think he'll like them. What do you guys think?

Here we have:
-A salad with tomato, lettuce, crutons, carrots, and radish
-A fruit salad with honeydew, cantelope, watermelon, and grapes
-A plate of my favorite Cheese Fries!
-A Shake-n-Bake style chicken dinner with mashed potatos +gravy +peas
-A plate of Chicken Alfredo with garlic bread and parsley (chicken is hard to see though)

And a little caramel apple with peanuts

I hope you guys enjoy ^_^
